Kristy Love Brooks worked on the Strip and around the world as the “female lead” of the Buck Ram Platters for more than 12 years. Referred to as “The Platters Dish”, she astonished audiences across the globe.
Kristy performed both as a solo aritst and with the group, worldwide, from the United States to Hong Kong, Singapore, Haiti, Bahamas, Hawaii and more. On the Las Vegas strip, she performed at the famous Sahara Hotel, Planet Hollywood, The Rio, The Four Seasons, The Mirage, and numerous other corporate venues.
Affectionately called” Kristy Love”, she first performed as a member of the Platters when she joined the original company under legendary manager Buck Ram who would replace the members as they left (placing her, aka Kathleen Lewis, in the legitimate line up of the Platters).
She would later take a hiatus from the group to pursue her solo career when she was signed to RCA Records. However, due to her amazing performances, Entertainment Management group commissioned her to rejoin the Buck Ram Platters where she performed for over 15 years.
Kristy achieved numerous standing ovations for her solo performances establishing herself as one of the true Divas of music. Audiences and promoters both quickly labeled her as “the highlight of the show”, with her illuminating smile and tender passionate voice, she truly touches the hearts of her audience.
As her review in the Las Vegas Weekly magazine stated, “…the Platters finest Dish launches a Mahalia-meets-Aretha solo on a gospel-dipped “Someone To Watch Over Me,” then sings lead on an ecstatic “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” that ratchets up the audience to an on-its-feet fervor.”
Although her charismatic presence immediately takes your heart, most memorable is the beauty of her voice. She is commonly referred to as “the voice of an angel”. Kristy is currently available for private, corporate, and public performances. Click here to receive more information on appearances, and booking.
