This play is a musical masterpiece about the historical origins and irrefutable influence of gospel, blues, jazz, and rhythm and blues on Rock ‘n’ Roll. In this musical journey, we re-live the beginnings of rock ‘n roll through colorful characters and the creative eyes of Kristy Love, a legendary artist, who lived the life of a Soul Rock ‘n Roller. The play is truly entertaining with humor and drama while maintaining the integrity of its educational and historical value.
Creator and Composer
Kristy Love Brooks ROCKS. In 2014 she was the recipient of the Las Vegas Rock “N” Soul Hall of Fame Music Icon Award. In 2017, she was inducted into the Las Vegas Entertainers Hall of Fame and Museum. She is female lead singer of the Buck Ram Platters on the Las Vegas Strip.
